Given its rich history and fascinating constitutional journey, the UK is well suited as both a host and platform for dialogue around parliamentary evolution and processes. In an era where issues of succession and devolved power are often decided through violent conflict, Beyond Borders endeavours to use the Scottish experience of devolution as a form of conflict resolution. With a dual approach which takes advantage of the rich political history of both Westminster and Holyrood and the safer retreat space of Traquair House, project stakeholders are able to have a fully holistic experience. Drawing upon our extensive network of politicians, policy experts and elder states people across Westminster and Holyrood, we are able to put together a bespoke programme that includes workshops, visits and retreat dialogue spaces.

In the past we have hosted delegations from Bahrain, Turkey, Oman, Kurdistan, Iraq, the Basque Country and Catalonia.
